The design has an integrated RBC (Rotating Biological Contactor) filled with Helix as Biologist.

The RBC is a rotating trickle filter/drip filter concept that requires no head of the pump! The RBC is 40% underwater if the pond pump is on at 2 x the pond volume.

The rotating movement of the RBC ensures that a trickle/drip filter is created without head. The industrial motor of 250nM of 60 watts rotates the RBC.

Ammonia and nitrite removal:
Scientific studies by, for example, Easter (1992) and Westerman et al. (1993) have shown that an RBC guarantees very high ammonia and nitrite removal, even better than Trickle filters and many times better than moving bed reactors!

This RBC has a capacity to carry 150 liters of biological material. This RBC is equipped with Helix as standard (if desired, it can also be filled with, for example, Siporax protect).

Supplied as standard with 3x 110mm inlets (this can also be expanded if desired) and 3x 110mm outlets.
